The Borrower funded their sub-division through one of the Big 4 banks, but at completion of the development the bank was unwilling to advance any further funds until the majority of the lots had sold.
Balmain’s solution was to provide a residual stock facility for 12 months than enabled repayment of the existing mortgagee and provide a cash equity release of over $3,000,000, which the client then used to advance other projects.
This facility was funded by the Balmain Mortgage Fund.
