Murry has over 35 years of experience in property development, construction and project delivery undertakings, ranging from feasibility and due diligence studies, acquisition and statutory approvals to delivery of construction projects and disposal of completed assets. He joined the Marsim Group as a Development Manager in 1996, becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2002.
Throughout his tenure at Marsim Group, Murry delivered over 2,000 residential land lots, 1,500 stratified residential apartments, 300 stratified medium density residential lots, 130 stratified industrial units and over 30,000m2 of retail, bulky goods and commercial developments throughout Australia’s Eastern states to an aggregate value exceeding $1.8 billion.
Joining Balmain in 2010, Murry has been instrumental in building Balmain Asset Management taking the lead role in the delivery and completion of over $4.0 billion of property transactions, from the completion of partially completed apartment buildings to land sub-divisions and the procurement of development approvals for various large scale property deals with masterplan communities including marina developments.
In addition, since the Balmain acquisition of the d’Albora Marinas Group in 2017, Murry now also heads the the d’Albora business which currently comprises 10 premium marina locations on the East Coast of Australia.
