John Stefanatos

John has over 27 years of experience in commercial property and development finance.

He started at Balmain in 2002, after working for 10 years with two major banks in senior management and credit roles as well as at a large global superannuation fund.

Growing up in a property development and commercial investor family, it is his second nature to think like a developer/investor. John understand the unique business model and challenges of property developers and greatly enjoys being involved in all the stages of their journey.

John has put together some of Melbourne's most complex property debt, mezzanine and equity transactions and enjoys being a trusted advisor to his most valued long term clients and being respected by his institutional capital partners.
